I don’t like spending a lot of time in the kitchen so short and simple works best for me. And that’s just what these lettuce wraps are.
The yummy romaine lettuce came from farmers market. So delicious.
Here’s the original recipe
And here’s my version:
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1 1/2 tsp. tahini
1 tsp. low sodium tamari
3 beautiful, unbroken washed romaine lettuce leaves
1 1/2 Tbs. raw shelled hemp seeds
I also added small helping of leftover quinoa salad with beans, corn and cilantro
I just opened this jar of Tahini. It was very separated and took forever to stir. That’s the only drawback to natural nut or seed butters.
