Hello

How are you?

First of all I would like to say thank you for taking the time to read my blog. Yesterday I received this notification.

50 followers! I know it might not sound like a lot but this kind of made me happy to see yesterday since my blog is new and I sometimes wonder if anyone reads it.

I realize there a ton of really great blogs out there so thank you for those of you who read mine 🙂

Now, are you ready for a peanut butter snack?

You may or may not know I have a slight addiction to peanut butter so any chance I get to have it, I do. Of course, I have to exercise discipline because sometimes I can really get out of hand. One spoonful of peanut butter after another!

I love making peanut butter balls because they are so easy to make and are a quick and healthy snack for my family and I.

I posted another recipe a while back but this one is a bit different because I added hempseeds and used a little less peanut butter.

Speaking of hempseeds, they are an amazing source of Plant Based Protein and Omegas. In fact, they contain more than chia and flax seeds.

Ingredients:

1 cup of Medjool dates

1/2 cup of gluten free oats

1/2 cup of natural peanut butter

2 Tbs. of Organic Manitoba Harvest Hemp Hearts

( I usually use 1 cup of oats but all I had was a 1/2 cup so I used that and they still came out good)

Feel free to adjust ingredients depending on what you have on hand

Directions:

Place all ingredients in a food processor ( I used my Ninja) and mix well, then form into balls and place in a ziplock bag or container and store in the fridge.

Enjoy!

Marlene
